Motorcycle Ride To Benefit Baby

A motorcycle ride is planned for Saturday, March 3, beginning at Larry’s 4-Way, at the intersection of Jackson Lake Road and Hwy. 212 west to benefit Hayden Grace Herndom.

Three-month-old Hayden Grace has a rare metabolic disorder known as Zellwegers Syndrome. The condition causes Hayden to be on a feeding tube, numerous medications and vitamins, and may shorten her lifespan.

The daughter of Chelsea Billings and James Herndom, Hayden’s family needs help with medical expenses. The ride will begin at Larry’s 4-Way at noon, and the bikes will head to Motorhead Bar, 650 Macon Street, McDonough. The fee is $15 for riders, and $5 for passengers. Those who are not bikers but want to join in are welcome, and are asked to pay $20 for passenger cars regardless of how many passengers.

Some of the fund raising will be done through raffles, auction items, and a 50-50 drawing at Motorheads after the ride.

Hayden’s maternal grandparents are Ashley Billings and Jeff Miller, and paternal grandparents are Dewayne and Gail Herndom.
