Peter Card To Sign Books Here Saturday

Former Jasper County resident and now world traveler, Peter Card will be available to sign copies of his latest book this Saturday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Monticello News office.

Mr. Card previously released two children’s books as part of a series known as The Whiz Kidz Adventures (The Whiz Kidz Devour the Dancing Blues and Facing Field Day Fears). Since that time, Mr. Card has completed four additional titles in the series (Master Making Friends, Battle Bullying, Conquer the Clutter and Figure out Multiplication Facts). The series centers around four kids, who each possess unique talents. The Whiz Kidz combine their talents to help their friends come up with creative solutions to their situations.

Mr. Card will also be signing the first release from his second series, Come with Us (Rome). Told from a child’s perspective, these books will chronicle the extensive travels Mr. Card and his wife, Cheryl, have experienced over the last four years while they served as teachers in the United Arab Emirates.
