PA Soccer Enters Final Stretch

Piedmont Academy’s varsity soccer teams have encountered some bumps in the road during the 2025 season but both squads have continued to work to show improvement on the field.

The varsity boys returned to action last Thursday against First Presbyterian on the road in Macon falling 11-3.

The Cougars (3-8-1) will travel to John Milledge Academy today, April 17 for region action beginning at 7 p.m.

Seniors for this year’s team include Scott Swann, Dylan Brimberry, Logan Elliot, Brayden Cowan, Tucker Sutton, Hunter Cleveland, Mark Myles and Owen Piedra.

The Piedmont Lady Cougars also had a tough time against FPD falling 10-0. The Lady Cougars also travel to John Milledge today for a 5 p.m. region match.

The Lady Cougars are a young team this season with just two seniors in Daylin Meadows and Sam Gray, both of whom are co-captains.

The varsity teams will then close out the season against Mount de Sales on the road April 22, at Windsor on April 24 and at Stratford Academy on April 29.
