McMichaels Celebrate 60 Years of Marriage

Jimmy and Lynda Sue McMichael of Monticello celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 12. After being high school sweethearts, the McMichaels were married at Monticello Baptist Church in 1965 where they are still members.

The marriage brought three children, Jay (Kim), Amy Scroggs (Gary) and Greg (Becky); six grandchildren, Brady McMichael, Allison Scroggs, Brandi Seawright (Tyler), Walt McMichael (Brynlee), Garrett Scroggs (Matti), and Kalyn McMichael; and three great-grandchildren, Josie James Scroggs, Dutton Stone McMichael and Opal Jean Seawright.

Mr. and Mrs. McMichael are both retired but enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
