JCHS CLASS OF 2025
Nearly 200 students graduated from Jasper County High School Friday night at Hurricane Field. The weather was perfect, and the stadium was full for the commencement exercises of Jasper County’s largest graduating class ever, as far as anyone can tell. The ceremony began with Montana Puckett, senior class treasurer, welcoming everyone, then Lucas Helton, senior class vice president for field day led the pledge to the flag. Kimora Crawford, senior class secretary, gave the invocation.
Then class Salutatorian Rebekah Nunez gave the salutatory address followed by Hunter Cleveland who gave the valedictory address. Perla Bautista, senior class vice president of awards made a special presentation, announcing the gift of monogrammed tablecloths for awards ceremonies. Then Principal Jim Strength presented the class, and Supt. Kenny Garland accepted the class then began handing out diplomas.
Khayden Hope, senior class president, led the turning of the tassel. Lastly, Madelyn Taylor, senior class vice president of graduation gave the benediction. As the graduates marched off the field, they stopped mid-field and tossed their mortarboards in the air, and friends and family filed onto the field to congratulate the graduates and wish them the best for the next chapter of their lives.
