GCSU Names Spring Honorees
Georgia College & State University (GCSU) in Milledgeville has named those students who earned academic honors for the 2025 Spring Semester.
Three local students were named to the President’s List.
Sara Roberts of Mansfield was named to the President’s List for the College of Health Sciences; Savannah Curtis of Monticello was named to the President’s List for the College of Arts & Sciences; and Samuel Kennon of Newborn was named to the President’s List for the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business & Technology.
To earn distinction on the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average.
Six local students were named to the Dean’s List.
Hanna Blackmon of Mansfield and Kelly Selman of Monticello were named to the Dean’s List from the College of Health Sciences; Drew Cole and Clayton Schutte, both of Mansfield, were named to the Dean’s List from the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business & Technology; Brannon Polk of Newborn was named to the Dean’s List for the College of Arts & Sciences; and Addi Nichols of Monticello was named to the Dean’s List for the John H. Lounsbury College of Education.
To earn distinction on the Dean’s List, students must achieve a minimum 3.5 semester GPA while completing at least 12 hours.
Located in Milledgeville, GCSU is one of three selective admission institutions in the University System of Georgia, along with Georgia Tech and The University of Georgia.
