Have You Been Dipped?
Psalms 16:9-10
No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy ones to rot in the grave!
Ephesians 4:30 Don’t cause the Holy Spirit sorrow by the way you-me live. Remember, he is the One who marks you-me to be present on that day when salvation from sin will be complete. V23 Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better. V24 Yes you-me must be a new and different person, Holy yes Holy and Good. Clothe yourself with this new nature so we won’t be found naked and shamed when Jesus returns.
“Stop lying to each other; tell the truth for we are parts of each other, and when we lie to each other we are hurting ourselves. Let’s look at St. John 12:6; it talks about Judas not really caring about the poor because he was a thief. He’s like some of the people today in all walks of life. They want to control the money bag. He got upset when Mary was anointing Jesus’ feet with that expensive perfume. He said it has been wasted. His greed has blinded him to the point he didn’t remember who’s feet she was anointing. Don’t get angry and frustrated with Judas. We have some shepherds in God’s house now, today, who is stealing from the funds intended for Jesus’ ministry. Yes I have talked to some church member been sick in the hospital and they have not had a visitation, nor a get well card nor a monetary donation to help and care for their needs of whatever means of help. Just like Judas, Satan has entered into their heart and put this scripture there—I Tim 6:10 ESV_For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs—a sudden strong feeling or emotion for example, of sadness or pain.
The scriptures tell us in I Corinthians 4:20 for the kingdom of God is not just a lot of talking it is living by God’s power. Again it says God’s way is not a matter of mere talk, it’s empowered life. Again it says, for the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
What is a shepherd, a leader, a protector, a provider who guides and cares for a flock of people often likened to a flock of sheep. The imagery is used both to describe human leaders like Moses and David and to represent God and Jesus’s role in caring for their followers.
Proverbs 14:4 says “Where there are not oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox,. Read Habakkuk 3:17.
Ephesians 5:1 Follow God’s example in everything you do must as a much loved child imitates his father.
V2 Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you-me and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins, my sins. And God was pleased, for Christ’s love for you and me was like sweet perfume to him.
Let there be no sex sir, impurity or greed among you-me-us. Let no one be able to accuse you of such things. Dirty stories, foul talk and coarse jokes—these are not for you-me. Instead, remind each other of God’s goodness and be thankful.
You can be sure of this: The kingdom of Christ and of God will never belong to anyone who is impure or greedy, for a greedy person is really an idol worshipper—he loves and worships the good things of this life more than God,. V6
Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these seins for the terrible wrath of God is upon all those who do them. Don’t even associate with such people,. V8 For though once your heart my heart saw full of darkness, now it is full of light from the Lord, and your behavior should show it!
Amen-amen-aman
