JCHS FBLA Members Attend SLC Conference
Several Jasper County High School Future Business Leader of America (FBLA) members recently attended the Georgia FBLA State Leadership Conference which was held in Atlanta.
Those participating in the conference and their respective competitive events were (left to right) Rayne Paulsen, Accounting I; Cam West, Introduction to Business Procedures; Pressley Donaldson, Introduction to Business Procedures; Abi Garland, Business Communications; Arabella Raatz, Introduction to Public Speaking; Adrianna Russell, Introduction to Financial Math; Khayden Hope, Public Speaking; Lesly Bautista, Introduction to Business Procedures; Shanae McClain, Introduction to Business Communications and Personal Finance; and Jayden Wojcik, Public Policy & Advocacy.
While at the conference, each of the attendees participated in several leadership workshops as well as observing the finals round of several competitions. In addition, Miss Garland, who serves as Region 12 President, presented two sessions of a leadership workshop to FBLA members from around the state.
The group was accompanied by FBLA advisers Nash Bragg and Johnnie Sue Moore.
FBLA is the co-curricular organization in the Business, Management and Administration career cluster, which is part of the Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program at JCHS. Mr. Bragg and Amy Scroggs are the local FBLA advisers.
