Walking with God

When we walk with God, we will never be lost.

St. Matthew 22:37-39 says V37 Jesus replied, “You must love your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your mind.” V. 38. “This is the first and great commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself.” The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

Read it again, he said “All—the demand of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

Subject—Knowing who you are! To the Monticello News staff with true love from preacher Cleo Campbell for the well job you’ll do to inform us of the good and bad things here and how we ourselves can make things better because at the end of the day we are all in Jasper County together as God himself has shown us.

Knowing who you are! II Peter 1:1-10 Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, wrote us this letter:

I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. Notice he didn’t say to everyone but you who share the same precious faith that we have. This faith was given to you-me-us because of justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Saviour.

V2 May God give you more and more grace and peace as you-me-us grow in your-our knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord, and not in man knowledge. But growing in faith.

V3 By his divine power, God has given us-me-you everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us-me-you to himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.

V4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you-me to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

V5 In view of all of this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith our faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge—knowledge is a powerful weapon V6 And knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patience endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

V8 The more you-me-we grow like this, the more production and useful you will be in knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

V9 But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blinds, forgetting that they too have been cleansed from their old sins. When we walk with God, we will N-E-V-E-R be lost.

V10 So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you-me-we will never fall away.

Then God will give you a grand entrance into the Eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 13:14 says “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all.” Amen-Amen-Amen
