JCPS STUDENTS CREATE GARDENS ON CAMPUS

Jasper County Primary School (JCPS) students are working on creating pollinator gardens all over the school grounds. Kindergarten students have new raised beds installed outside their classroom windows to grow all the flowers they grow indoors in mini greenhouses. Oldcastle donated two pallets of potting soil to support agricultural projects at JCPS. Kindergarten students from Dawn Corrigan’s class are pictured planting pansies they grew in their classroom. Students help fill the new planters with bags of donated potting soil from Oldcastle. Elizabeth Proctor the JCPS STEAM teacher is excited about the gardens and sharing the love of gardening with our youngest students.
