In The Good Ole Summertime

This had to be a song written long ago. How about 1902?

“In the good old summertime,

In the good old summertime,

Strolling thro’ the shady lanes

With your baby mine;

You hold her hand and she holds yours,

And that’s a very good sign

That she’s your tootsie wootsie

In the good old summertime.”

Last summer was the hottest summer on record According to NOAA(National Oceanic and Atmospheric) the last 10 years have been the warmest on records since 1880. 2024 is following the trend. 29% of the world, 77 countries, and three continents, 21 countries set all time extreme heat records.

Extreme times call for clear thinking and logic. Stay hydrated; it doesn’t have to be water, avoid being outdoors during the hottest time of the day, wear light, airy clothing, in your house keep drapes closed, use the dryer at night, use a crock pot to cook during the day, cool showers, fans sitting around the house, just a few ideas.

Good luck, chill

In the good ole summer time.
