The Scars of Sin/Living in a Tomb

So many people are living in a tomb with dead bones and decaying corpses . Do you error because you don’t know the scriptures?

The Bible states that people without Christ are dead. But with Christ we live. Let us look at a dead man from the scriptures. St. Mark 5:2 Let go to the grave man named Legion a maniac is a person exhibiting wild behavior.

A man who is out of control. He’s a dead corpse the Bible states that when they would catch him and bind him up with fetters and chains. (Fetters were attached to the feet, and chains bound the hands and arms.) These devices could not hold Legion. He broke them.

As we read about this poor man’s soul, it is not hard to make the comparison between him and us a lost soul that’s around—lost souls are around us trapped in the same state of sin. The sin that possesses the heart of all the lost sinners will drive himself to waste his days among the dead, spiritual dead.

A lost sinner has no desire to be around the living. If this is not true, take a look in your house and home, and if you are dealing with the same thing, you are not judging because the truth cannot be judged. Only righteousness because right is right and wrong is wrong.

Man has always tried to conquer and cure all the problems that plague humanity, enslave him—kill them. Jails, prisons them, institutions, medications, psychology-asylum—they think this is the solution to all these problems. But, the scripture teaches us that without Christ we are spiritually dead. Genesis teaches us that when God made man he was dead. It was when he blew his breath into man’s nostrils that he became a living soul.

I find something my baby son wrote when he was struggling in prison during the Covid—struggling mean to make a great effort to overcome something as we all know that fear over faith then faith don’t work.

Fear overcame many people of faith but Joshua began to write. “He said life strategies—means a plan of action or policy to achieve a major (Covid) overall battle. Life Strategies. The three important facts to make:

•Get Real. We do not deal much in facts when we are contemplating ourselves.

•Life Law #1—You either get it or you don’t. Strategy—become one of those who gets it.

•Life Law #2—You create your own experience.

Strategy—Acknowledge and accept accountability for your life.

•Life Law #3—People do what works. Strategy—Identify the payoff that drives your behavior and that of others.

•Life Law #4 You cannot change what you do not acknowledge. Amen. Strategy—Get real with yourself about life and everybody in it.

•Life Law #5—Life rewards action. Strategy—Make careful decisions and then pull the trigger.

•Life Law #6—There is no reality. Only perception. Strategy—Identify the filters through which you view the world.

•Life Law #7—Life is managed; it is not cured. Strategy—Learn to take charge of your life.

•Life Law #8—We teach people how to treat us. Strategy—Own, rather than complain about, how people treat you.

•Life Law #9—There is power in forgiveness. Strategy—open your eyes to what anger and resentment are doing to you.

•Life Law #10—You have to name it before you can claim it. Strategy—Get clear about what you want and take charge of it.

The blessing of having an enemy?! When you know a person is obsessed with you and is out to discredit you, you are very, very blessed indeed.

This doesn’t happen to everyone; you’re chosen, for behind your enemy is the hand of God. God has raised up your enemy possibly just for you!

What do we mean by having an enemy? What is an enemy? It’s a person who either wants to harm you or who would say something about you so as to call your credibility or integrity into question. They would rejoice at your downfall or lack of success.

They would not pray that God would bless you and prosper you, instead would sincerely hope that God would bring you down. When you totally forgive your enemy, you have crossed over into the supernatural realm whether your enemy is temporary or a “life-sentence.” Never forget that God is at the bottom of it all. Supernatural is above and beyond.

Forgiveness is not total forgiveness until we bless our enemies, and pray for them to be blessed. Love your enemy doesn’t mean be angry with your enemy. It is God who is at work on your heart. They’re angry at God for blessing you or for putting you where you are. There will always be someone who will be jealous and seek to bring you down. We need an enemy, why? It helps to humble us lest we take ourselves too seriously. AN enemy shows us what we are like.

God often raises up an enemy to see if we really want to follow and be like Jesus.

Amen-Amen-Amen
