Hog Heaven on Hwy. 11 Set Saturday

The Jasper County FFA Alumni Chapter will be hosting their annual “Hog Heaven on Hwy 11” pig show in support of the FFA Program, and Jasper County’s youth on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

This show has been going on for the past eight years and will be held at the Jasper County High School Ag Barn.

It is a tradition of Jasper County’s FFA Chapter to provide a competitive show in a local setting for students to showcase their swine projects to the public and prepare for the Georgia Junior National Livestock Show in Perry the following week.

There will be concessions available including pork chop plates with cole slaw, and baked beans. There will also be a silent auction of the local ag mechanics projects with horse shoe art for sale, as well as a bake sale. The proceeds from these sales will be in support of the local FFA Chapter.
