It’s That Time Again

Yes, get ready, because Sunday, March 13, is going to be a long day. At 2 a.m. it’s the dreaded Spring Forward Daylight Savings time to change the clocks by one hour. Human bodies do not relate well to this adjustment.

Usually it takes a week to adjust to the sun being up even at 8 p.m.

March has a lot of madness beside basketball. Nearly 30 years ago, March 13, Atlanta got hit with a blizzard, dropping four inches of snow at the airport, so, one can only imagine that madness. The snow started on a Saturday morning and as they say, blanketed the state.

March is noted for wicked weather, be it snow, or tornadoes. Isn’t the old saying, “April showers bring May flowers.” Not exactly correct according to all the predicted rain we are having. And this week we are having unseasonably warm weather and then a sudden drop in temperatures this weekend.

Don’t put away those winter duds.

Next week we will again celebrate the Wearing of the Green on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. So, find your green outfit for that day. Erin go bragh.

Be ever mindful to have positive thoughts right now. Maybe we collectively can send some around the world.
