Thanks for the Blessings

To God of Israel and the God Father of Jesus Christ we thank you for grace and mercy for the good things you have blessed us with.

To The Monticello News staff to all Fathers on Father’s Day…may we all be a blessing in every body we meet on this journey.

A Word for the World!

Ps. 49:1-20 says Hear this, all you peoples: Listen, all who live in this world, 2 both low and high, rich and poor alike. V. 3 My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the utterance from my heart will give understanding. V. 4 I will turn my ear to a proverb; with the harp I will expound my riddle: v. 5 Why should I fear when evil days come, when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me-you-us. V. 6 Those who trust in their wealth and boast of their great riches? V. 7 No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him. V. 8 The ransom for a life is costly; no payment is ever enough—that he should live on forever and not see decay.

V. 10 For all can see that wise men die; the foolish and senseless alike perish and leave their wealth to others.

Their tombs will remain their houses forever; their dwelling for endless generations, though they had named lands, towns, streets, cars, or whatever after themselves.

12 But man, despite his riches, does not endure; he is like the beasts that perish. Keep reading.

A person needs three attributes to use at a time of rest profitably. Gratitude for previous blessings; a desire to correct past mistakes and prevent them in the future, and a willingness to occupy ourselves constructively. So the best way to prevent evil is by doing good.

Ps. 51:2 says Wash me from my guilt; purify me from my sin.

James 1:21 says Get rid of the evil and be saved.

Micah 7:18 says, who is God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in lovingkindness.

Luke 6:37 says Forgive others and you-me will be forgiven.

Luke 6:27 says Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you me-us. Yes, we can do this how do I know because Romans 5:8 says But God commandeth his own love not the enemy love, his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners still doing our thing Christ died for us.
