JCMS Names Staff of The Year

Jasper County Middle School has announced the Teacher of the Year for 2021. This year’s recipient is Stephanie Hayslip. She is a seventh grade English Language Arts teacher and one of the grade’s team lead teachers. Her pleasant demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond the expected to help both her students and her fellow teachers contributed to her being selected by the faculty and staff as Teacher of the Year.

Kamwanya Belle (middle) was selected as the Professional Support Staff Person of the Year for 2021. Mr. Belle is the counselor for JCMS. The faculty and staff recognized his dedicated service to all our students and especially his efforts to make our virtual students successful during this pandemic year.

Donna Wyatt was named the Support Staff Person of the Year for 2021. Ms. Wyatt serves as media assistant and teacher support for the sixth grade. She willingly steps into any task and responsibly carries out all her duties.
