Ps. 49:1-20 Read. Proverbs 22:20-21
Listen to this all you people! Pay attention, everyone in the world! High and low, rich and poor—listen! For my words are wise and my thoughts are filled with insight. Listen carefully to many proverbs and solve riddles inspiration from a harp.
There is no need to fear when times of trouble come, when enemies are surrounding me-you-us. They trust in their wealth riches yet they still die.
We feel like we could cry forever. We miss our loved ones so much and we hurt inside. It seems as our lives will never be the same because we feel the deep sorrow and despair and perhaps with our comfortless we may ask a question, “Who can minister to us when we feel overwhelmed with grief?”
The psalmist shows that he identified with the pain of the bereaved. Psalm 116:3 say the cords of death entangled me-you-us. The anguish of the grave came upon me-you-us, and we are overcome by trouble and sorrow.
The envelopes we received from peoples who loves and care about us with sympathy but yet we are still left with emptiness, loneliness and stress, who does the psalmist turn us to? Ps. 116:4 We should called on the name of the Lord; O Lord save me! Isaiah 25:8 says he turns to the only one who will dry all of our tears, the one who carries all of our sorrows—Isaiah 53:4-12.
The man acquainted with grief. Likewise, we must turn to God and His words for comfort in our times of comfort. In our time of sorrow, without denying our pain, scripture gives us a proper perspective. It says sometimes somethings we can easily lose in times of emotional trauma and crisis. Our faith, our hope, our forgiveness our love yes even our God [But God’s word give Hope when we feel utterly alone and hopeless.]
We can take comfort in knowing that God does not allow a trial in my-our-your lives that is too great for us to bear.
I Corinthians 10:13 says we-you-me can also be assured that death does not conquer those who die in Christ. Amen-Amen-Amen.
God is in charge of all things. Even the terrible destruction and the traumatic aftermath of death for those who mourn are under his lordship. God’s word and spirit can comfort our grieving hearts so that we will be able to say with the Psalmists (Ps. 116:1:1-19)
V.1 I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living…I am [His] servant…praise the Lord. II Corinthians 1:1:4.
V.5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6. If we are distressed, it is for your-our-comfort and salvation; If we are comforted, it is for your-our comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we are suffering. 7. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our comfort.
We do not want you to be uninformed brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond (our) ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. 9. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. [But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves, but on God who raises the dead,-10. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril—mean the condition of danger or at risk he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers.
Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.
II Corinthians 2:5 says if anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you, to some extent—not to put it too severely. The punishment inflicted on him by the Majority-mean-the great amount is sufficient-mean-enough as much as needed for him.
Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8. I urge you to therefore reaffirm your-our-love for him.
The reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything. 10. If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there is anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake in order that Satan might not outwit us mean get the best for us for we-you-me are not unaware of his schemes-mean a plan to plot. Romans 8:1-39.
Who can separate us from the love of God? No one! Christ Jesus died, but that’s not all. He was raised from death. And now he is on God’s right side and is begging God for us. That’s more than we are doing. I ask again another question. Can anything? Separate us from the Love of Christ? Can troubles or problems or sufferings? If we have no food or clothes, if danger, or even if death comes, can any of these things separate us from Christ’s love? As it is written in the scriptures-ps-44-22.
“For you we are in danger of death all the time, people think we are worth no more than sheep to be killed.” Read up on how sheep are killed. Keep Read.
Romans 14:22 A person is blessed if he-she can do that he-she thinks is right without feeling guilty v. 16. Do not allow what you think is good to become what others say is evil. 17. The importance things are living right with God, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
