Advanced Students May Be Tested for Early Kindergarten
Parents who have a child who is entering Pre-K or is Pre-K age but may be an advanced student may be interested in an opportunity.
Jasper County Primary School will accept up to three students for its “move on when ready” program for Pre-K age students. They will be able to start kindergarten early.
Students will take three assessments that kindergarten students must take during their kindergarten year. JCPS will accept up to three top scoring students (scoring in the 90th percentile) on these three assessments.
Anyone who is interested in this program, is asked to call the school at 706-468-4968 between now and May 28 by noon. Testing times will be scheduled for the week of May 28.
Contact Principal Pam Edge for information at Jasper County Primary School.
