JCPS Plans School Events
Jasper County Primary Schools Community in Action (CIA) team announces its first ever television raffle. The CIA parents in conjunction with the school will be raffling off a 50-inch smart television for just $5 per ticket.
The drawing for the winner will be Friday, Feb. 1, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. Wouldn’t it be amazing to watch the big game on your brand new 50-inch? All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the ongoing effort by the school’s media center team to upgrade the books and reading space for the students at JCPS.
Any community member who would be interested in purchasing a raffle ticket can come to the front office at JCPS anytime during school hours Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Only 250 tickets will be sold.
The school will also host its annual Obstacle Course Night and Bingo for Books today, Jan. 24 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at JCPS. The bingo will begin at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Pizza will be available for purchase and Papi’s Taco Truck will be on site selling tacos, nachos, sweet tea and lemonade.
