Continue To Serve God

I give thanks to God the Father, Jesus Christ the Savior Holy Ghost our Comfort and Guide, and to The Monticello News staff.

II Corinthians 6:11 Said Christ. Bring us back to God; we know what it means to have respect for the Lord.

So we try to help other people to understand it. What we are is plain to God. I hope it is also plain to your way of thinking. We are not trying to make an appeal to you again, but we are giving you a chance to take pride in us.

Some people take pride in their looks rather than what’s in their hearts. If you take pride in us, you will be able to answer them. Are we “out of our minds” as some people say? If so, it is because we want to serve God. Does what we say make sense? If so, it is because we want to serve you? Christ’s love controls us. We are sure that one person died for everyone. Christ died for everyone.

He died so that those who lived should not live for themselves anymore. They should live for Christ. He died for them and was raised again so from now on we don’t look at anyone the way the world does. If the Lord will and I live next month, I, Cleo, ask the Lord to help me bring this more in the light. You see at one time we looked at Christ that way. But we don’t anymore. When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone. The new is here!

All this is from God. He brought us back to himself through Christ’s death on the cross and he has given us the task of bringing others back to him through Christ.

God was bringing the world back to Himself through Christ. John 3:16 Read it for yourself. He did not hold people’s sins against them. God has trusted us with the message that people may be brought back to Him. So we are Christ’s official messengers.

It is as if God were making his appeal through us. Here is what Christ wants us to beg you to do. Come back to God! Christ didn’t have any sin. But God made Him become sins for us. So we can be made right with God. Because of what Christ has done for us and now we ourselves.

You see, God wants us to be messengers like Paul. You see the first thing we need to know when Satan tries to attack us, we need know who we are working for. Next how much wages we are going to receive. What benefit does it carry is it a good plan, is it better than this one: Jesus died for our sins so we could be friends with God. We work together with God. So we are asking you not to receive God’s grace and then do nothing with it.

We don’t put anything in anyone’s way so no one can find fault without work for God. Instead, we should make it clear that we serve God in every way. We should serve him by standing firm in trouble, hard times and suffering. When we are beaten, put in prison. When people stir up trouble in the streets, we don’t give up, we continue to serve God.

Because we work hard for Him. Without sleep and food. We should remain pure. We need to understand completely what it means to serve God. With patience and kindness, serve him in the power of the Holy Spirit. Serve him with true love. We need to speak the truth. We serve in the power of God. We hold weapons that will not form against us in our right hand and in our left hand it won’t work. Yes, we serve God in times of glory and shame. We serve him whether the news about us is bad or good. We are true to our calling. But people treat us as if we were pretenders.

We are known, but people treat us as if we were unknown. We are dying, but we continue to live. Yes, are beaten, But we are not killed. We are sad, but we always full of joy. We are poor, but we make many people rich. Ye we have nothing, but we own everything.

Believers of God, God has spoken freely to you, us, and the churches, God’s people. Say, Amen.

God Warns: Do not be joined to unbelievers. What do right and wrong have in common? Can light and darkness be friends? How can Christ and Satan agree? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? How can the temple of the true God and the statues of other gods agree? We are the temple of the living God.

God has said, “I will live with them. I will walk among them. I will be their God. And they will be my people. Jeremiah 32:38.

“Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch anything that is not pure and clean. Then I will receive you.” Isaiah 52:11 And, ”I will be your father. You will be my sons and daughters. Says the Lord who rules over all.

Dear friends, we have these promises from God. So let us make man on the sixth day. On the later days the works of saying Let us be completely holy. We want to honor God.

And we will when the Church turns away from sin and make room in our hearts for the truth; until then we shouldn’t be able to rest. We should live in fear. Was it enough have we said enough, have we done enough, have we been honest enough have we helped someone enough, have we given enough, preyed enough, visited enough, clothed enough, fed enough?

Preach enough, set the brokenhearted free enough, love enough, or has it been all about me and just my family. If we feel hurt and sadness it is because its sure led you to turn away from your sins. Because worldly sadness brings death.

Excuse—”I have tried before and failed. But if you study the scriptures and you did not believe like you must be born again from all of your sin, then yes you will keep on failing again and again. Because one failure doesn’t mean final defeat. Ask yourself upon whom did you depend? Did you make a complete surrender? Did you keep something back? Did you confess Christ publicly? Were you faithful in prayer? Did you seek guidance from the word? “They received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those thing were so (Acts 17:11) Did you go to work for Christ (Luke 11:24-26) Or did you rearrange things for self and the world. They are doing it why not keep in touch!

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41.

Be present in church—Hebrews 10:25.
