111 100 11111111100010 (binary code for July 4, 2018), yes, life, is all ones and zeros, pluses and minus, positives and negatives. In fact, folks, our world, our bodies, wouldn’t even exist without them.

All these storms we have been having as of late are created when negative and positive charges clash. Positive effects of lightning create nitrate from nitrogen, all plants need it to grow. Negative effects are obviously when humans and buildings get hit by that charge.

Optimists and pessimists, they see the world positively and negatively. Personally, as a pessimist I like the quote, “A pessimist is wrong 99% of the time and the other 1% pleasantly surprised”. That’s a pinch of positive.

Opinions, everyone has one, sometimes positive, sometimes negative.

Question, do we all want to think the same? It is those positive and negative responses that separate us from the animal kingdom. Well, maybe not that much separation.

As we, United States citizens, start our 243rd year of existence, we are still governed by the oldest document of its kind, the Constitution. Even the Constitution has been amended 27 times to adjust to positive and negative aspects of the day. Still living and breathing.

Ending on a positive note, “The latter shall be greater than the former”.
