End of Course Test Review Set

Jasper County High School will host a two student review days for the End of Course Test (EOCT) which is required by Georgia’s educational curriculum.

The first review day will be Saturday, Nov. 11 about Domain 1 – Colonialism and Revolution & Constitution from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The second review day will be Saturday, Dec. 9 about Domain 2 – Early Republic and Sectionalism, Civil War, & Reconstruction also from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Teachers Bobbi Sauls and Bonnie Garvin remind parents that it is in their child’s best interest to go into the EOCT with an 80 average. The EOCT counts for 20 percent of the final grade. At the end of each review section, the student will retest over the domain covered that day. Attendance to both days will allow for these tests to be averaged together and replace their lowest test grade for the first semester.

Lunch (pizza) will be provided for everyone who registers in advance and attends the review.

Students can register with either Ms. Sauls or Ms. Garvin by Friday, Nov. 10. If a student cannot attend the scheduled dates, please see the teacher to discuss alternate dates.
