Deer Festival

All roads lead to Monticello, especially this coming Saturday for the biggest celebration of the year around here, the Deer Festival.

If you are a shopper, this year’s variety of booths in and around the square is endless—lots of handmade items, hair bows, signs, jewelry, tee shirts, pottery, art, and collectibles just to name a few items. A great time to pick up some unique gifts for the holidays.

Children will love seeing the animals, pony rides, and inflatables. And everyone will enjoy food booths.

Downtown merchants will welcome your visit with their shopping ideas and food.

The main stars of the event will be the entertainment whether it is on the main stage, the informational booths and, of course, beautiful downtown Monticello and Jasper County.
