FFA Plans Chickenque

The Jasper County FFA Alumni will be holding a Chicken Que fund raiser on Friday, Oct. 20. Plates will include a half a chicken, slaw, sauce, bread and chips for $8.

Tickets are available to purchase at Town-n-Country on Hwy 212 West. Pickup will be at the Jasper County High School Ag Lab from 5-7 p.m.

The FFA Alumni hold various fund raisers a year and provide funding for the following events: students to attend the state convention in Macon and FFA Camp in Covington, the officer team to attend the National Convention, the year-end banquet honoring student accomplishments, and awarding a scholarship to a senior pursuing an agricultural degree.
