Piedmont Announces Senior Awards

Piedmont Academy recognized the 2017 graduating seniors who received special awards during a ceremony last week. The recipients of those awards include the following:

Dual Enrollment (DE) PreCalculus—highest to Madison Burnham, and second highest to Tyler Mills.

DE Calculus—Highest to Ashley Johnston and second highest to Morgan Johnston and Madison Burnham.

Personal Finance—Highest to Grace Roberts and second highest to Madison Suttles.

Economics—Highest to Grace Roberts and second highest to J.T. Hardin.

DE Economics—Highest tie between Ben Smith and Tyler Mills.

DE Political Science—–Highest to Tyler Mills and second highest to Preston Tyler.

Anatomy and Physiology —Highest to Will Tillman and second highest to Michael Edwards.

DE English 1101—Highest to Tyler Mills and second highest to Mack Brady.

DE English 1102—Highest to Tyler Mills and second highest to Will Tillman.

English—Highest to Grace Roberts and second highest to Madison Suttles.

Algebra III – Highest to Georgie Allen and second highest to Madison Suttles.

Also, Wyatt Galloway received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy which means his expenses are paid for in return for his service.

Many of the students are also eligible for the HOPE scholarship if they attend college in Georgia.
