Kindergarten Slots Are Available

Do you have a child who is entering pre-kindergarten or is pre-kindergarten age that may be an advanced student?

Jasper County Primary (JCPS) will accept up to three students for this “move on when ready” program for Pre-K age students. They will be able to start kindergarten early.

Students will take three assessments that kindergarten students must take during their kindergarten year. JCPS will accept the top three scoring students (scoring in the 90th percentile) on these three assessments.

If anyone is interested in testing their child for this program, call the JCPS office at 706-468-4968 before Thursday, June 1. Testing times will be scheduled.
