Kindergarten Registration Is Next Week

Jasper County Primary School will be conducting kindergarten registration Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1 from 8:45 a.m. until 2:15 p.m..

March 28 will also be the only late night registration from 4-7 p.m.. Registration will also be held on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. until noon.

Kindergarten is for children who are five years old on or before September 1. Anyone whose child is currently enrolled at Jasper County Primary School Head Start or Pre-Kindergarten does not need to enroll their child in kindergarten.

Parents are asked to bring the following documents for registration:

•Birth Certificate

•Social Security Card

•Immunization Certificate Form 3231

•Hearing, Vision, and Dental Certificate Form 3300

•Proof of Residency (Must include name and address of parent/guardian enrolling student) i.e. current lease/rental agreement, current residential tax bill, current warranty/quick claim deed, or current home purchase agreement.

Parents are asked to bring the child with them when they come to register. Kindergarten teachers will be giving a brief kindergarten readiness assessment.

Registration will be held at Jasper County Primary School on 495 Highway 212 West, Monticello, Georgia.
