Jasper County Preschool Is Feataured

Jasper County Preschool is the featured school this week, and it is overseen by Director Nannette Manning.

All the staff members at the preschool are friendly and helpful to the students in this early learning facility located adjacent to the primary school. This school teaches children age 3-4 in nine different classes that each include a teacher and a paraprofessional.

There is a waiting list for attendance at the preschool which currently teaches 162 students.

A free breakfast available to all students begins the busy day of lessons. Teachers and parapros assist the students as they start their school day in the Primary School “Bears Den Cafe.”

Parents are encouraged to be involved in the preschool with a weekly newsletter sent each Monday. The most recent page informs of the pumpkin contest and a walking field trip for parents and students. Parents can also eat with their child during lunch if they choose. The overall atmosphere in the preschool is conclusive to learning in a safe and healthy environment preparing them for more strenuous education in the future.
