Wonderful Fall Days

The Labor Day holiday has come and gone. Football season is under way…even the pros this week! Yeah, cooler weather is coming.

I love fall. I think most everyone does. After the long, hot summer, cool, brisk fall days are the best.

The boys of summer are still at it, but us Braves fans have resigned ourselves to enjoying the next season—football, cause our boys are definitely out of contention for anything, except maybe the basement. Ugh.

Hopefully the Canes can pick up their first win of the season tomorrow, and the Cougars hopefully with get their third. I’m sure the Dawgs will post another win…but who knows which Falcons team will come out toe play Monday. And they are the Monday night game, so they don’t get included in the contest this week.

Speaking of the contest…I love this time of year for that, too. I see people bringing in their contest entries that I don’t see the rest of the year. And, I figure this year we’ll have more than one entrant who wants to check out the new building.

So come on…play the contest, it’s free and fun, and just like the Georgia Lottery..if you don’t play, you can’t win. And, come on in and visit with us…tour the building, and see how different it looks than when it was the wonderful Tillman House Restaurant.
