College Credit Is Available to High Schoolers
The faculty of Jasper County High School (JCHS) is excited to announce a new partnership with Georgia Military College. Online dual enrollment opportunities will be available Fall 2015 to JCHS students who have been admitted to GMC.
Required scores on the COMPASS test, the ACT, or the SAT serve as one of the admission requirements to Georgia Military College.
Jasper County High School, in cooperation with GMC, will be administering the COMPASS test on Tuesday, July 7 at 9 a.m. in the high school computer lab. Study materials for the math section of the test are available upon request.
Georgia Military College will have admission counselors on the JCHS campus for the purpose of sharing information about the partnership and for applying to GMC the morning of the COMPASS test. Students and parents are encouraged to take this opportunity to begin the application process.
If you are interested in taking the COMPASS test, would like the math study materials, or want to meet with a representative from GMC on one of the dates above, contact Alicia Moore at the high school at 706-468-5016 Ext. 1503 or amoore@jasper.k12.ga.us.
