Parent Meeting Set March 19

All parents/guardians of Jasper County School System students K-12 are invited to an informative meeting on the Georgia Milestones Test.

This is the first year the Milestones Test has been used to assess student achievement. Students will take the test in April.

In order to understand the test and how to help students prepare for testing, all parents are encouraged to attend the meeting on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m, at Jasper County Middle School, Building “C,” in Room 23.

Cheryl Marrett, District Testing Coordinator, will lead the meeting and school level testing coordinators will also be available. Ms. Marrett will share the format of the test and sample questions. Following the presentation, there will be a time for questions and answers relating to any concerns parents may have.

The school system encourages parents to make plans to attend this most important meeting.
