Joshua’s Law Class Offered

Southern Crescent Technical Institute is offering a 36-hour classroom and behind the wheel Joshua’s Law course at four locations including Jasper County.

Cost for the course is $350, but a $25 discount is available for those registering before July 1.

The Jasper County class will be offered July 7-11 at the location at 112 Industrial Park Drive in Monticello.

The class includes 30 hours classroom instruction and six hours behind the wheel. Completion makes students eligible for up to a $150 tax credit. Participants must have a valid Drivers’ Permit.

The 30/6 course is mandated for 15-16 years olds by the state of Georgia.
