Dr. Clarke Is Named Social Worker of the Year

Dr. Princess Clarke, Jasper County School System social worker, has received the 2014 School Social Worker of the Year Award for the 10th District of Georgia.

The annual award is presented by the School Social Worker Association of Georgia 10th District. She will receive honors at the association’s conference to be held in Savannah this month.

Dr. Clarke has been a professional social worker in Jasper County since 2001 serving children and families in a variety of capacities. She has received countywide recognition for her dedication and hard work including being credited for work on Jasper County’s first child abuse protocol.

Dr. Clarke has published several articles with the most recent being “The Influence of Alternative Education on Student Academic Performance and Behavior.”

She is also an adjunct professor at Nova South Eastern University and The University of Phoenix.
