Chamber Connection:

It is a fine day to write about Jasper County’s Chamber of Commerce because the weather is a perfect 10! Georgia sunny and 62 degrees – wonderful – go play outdoors!

Your Chamber is excited about the approach of Spring and the weather is fueling the anticipation.

There are many events in the near future so please save the following dates…

Saturday, March 1 – the Chamber is a sponsor of “Suess on the Loose” the day to promote Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy. Meet us at the Jasper County High School from 10 a.m. to noon for a few hours of literacy fun! Your COC Director and her “King on Stilts” will be defending their title of best costume!!

Friday, March 7 – First Friday Breakfast – The first gathering of 2014 is sponsored by Jasper County Family Connection and proves to be a kickoff for the county’s step forward with leadership and teamwork for the betterment of our community.

Monday, March 17 – Did you know that your Chamber Director is Vice President of the local Kiwanis Club? It is true and on this date in March the Kiwanis Club will celebrate the Star Students from Piedmont Academy and Jasper County High School! The local Kiwanis group welcomes guests and potential new Kiwanians so join us for lunch at Deptula’s at noon.

Also, the Kiwanis Talent Show is scheduled for March 22, so start warming up your student talent!
