Good Ole Days
Does anyone know when the “Good Ole Days” were? I hear it a lot. Why back in the good ole days this and that? I seem to be a day late and a dollar short when it comes to the being in the right time to experience the good ole days.
When I started working, the older workers would declare that they were like a family in the good ole days, but unfortunately I had arrived after the good ole days and now it wasn’t much of a family anymore. Too bad.
My parents and grandparents sat around talking about their good ole days, but their good ole days didn’t sound so good to me.
Just think, we are living right now in someone’s good ole days. There is a television commercial where a young, very young person is talking about the old days when they could only record two shows at the same time. How ‘bout living when you couldn’t record any shows, ‘cause there wasn’t even a television?
With our modern technology, we have progressed so much that we can record for the “good ole days” such television shows as “Duck Dynasty,” “The Wide, Wide World of Honey Boo Boo,” and 5,000 episodes of “CSI, Someplace.”
