Valentine’s Day

One week from today is a very important world wide holiday when we celebrate our love for each other, Valentine’s Day. Oh, the truths about Saint Valentine have become somewhat confused over the centuries, but thank goodness for good old advertising know-how it is yet another day to fork over some dough.

There is no lack of places to spend this dough from boxes of drugstore candy to romantic get-a-ways.

And if men cannot figure out the best gift to get the ball rolling just drop in any jewelry store, they can really help you part with some dough. Women have it equally difficult finding the appropriate gift for their loved ones, as the manufacturers have never figured out how-to make “heart-shaped” golf balls.

In the end no matter what you present your loved ones, be it husband, wife, best friend, child, teacher, it is not the price of the gift or even what it is, because Valentine’s Day is about love. A simple warm hug with a whispered, “I love you,” is priceless.
