Super Bowl Predictions
The Super Bowl countdown clock has begun, it is now Monday, January 28 at 10 a.m. only 6 days, some hours and minutes until two brothers, coaches, for the first time in NFL history will meet to settle the score.
Sports folks are calling it the Har Bowl, named after the coaches of their respective teams, the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, brothers, Jim and John Harbaugh.
Some pretty scientific predictions are being used this year to guess the outcome of the 47th Super Bowl.
If you are into colors as a predictor, the Ravens are the same colors as the Jasper County Hurricanes, purple, black and white. The 49er’s are attired in red and gold, close to UGA colors.
If quarterback last names are your thing, the winner will either be named Flacco or Kaepernick, what?
By far, the most accurate predictor is not the Las Vegas morning line bet, but the chicken wing bone predictor. How to do?
First, eat the wings until the bones are clean, take a paper plate and throw the bones into the plate. If you know someone who reads tea leaves then they can also, maybe, read wing bones, look for an R or S in the wing bone configuration.
Knowing where this Super Bowl is being held this year, New Orleans, it is a sure bet there is someone there who can read a palm, tea leaves and wing bones.
Oh, news flash, there is going to be a shortage of chicken wings this year according to all major news sources, so better put your order in now or rush down to Family Foods or Ingles to buy them.
Now who will win, Ravens, 49ers, Ravens, 49ers? Only those wing bones know for sure.
