Congratulations Seniors

With graduation on the horizon for many of our Jasper County High School and Piedmont Academy seniors, I tried to remember what that was like, but then gave up. It was just too many miles ago.

What I do appreciate and remember is some advice I got along the way that is still vivid. My favorite has always been: “Have someone to love, something to do and something to look forward to,” many people claim to have said this quote.”

I also always like “failure can be your best education.” I will personally add my own quote, “Thank goodness, they don’t put grades on your diploma.”

We never stop being educated whether it is at a school or in life. Life is full of surprises. Make sure you have fun even if you have to make your own fun. Travel.

The difference between the educated and the uneducated, simply put, to the uneducated, an A is just 3 sticks.
