Hello, From Warmer Weather

Hello, from sunny and warm, like 82 degrees, Nassau, Bahamas.

Our girl group is off again for an adventure, this time aboard Carnival Cruise Line, Fascination. This is a great time to cruise, the prices are at their lowest, past hurricane season and the ship is decorated for Christmas. It is hard to believe that Christmas is about three weeks away.

Our cruise has taken us to Key West for a few hours and we enjoyed walking around downtown on Duval Street where all the action takes place.

Of course, you have to get a slice of Key Lime pie. Not sure if it was invented there, but the key lime trees do grow in that area of Florida.

Nassau seems to have a lot of pink buildings, pink flamingos and a very British-looking police force, even though the British left many years ago.

Our ship mainly has the older crowd this week, the kiddies are still corralled in school.

There is a lot to be said for cruising, mainly all the service you get and especially no cooking or cleaning for a few days. We’ll be back to reality on Saturday.
