Two Make All-Region

Adrian Campbell, a senior at Jasper County High School, has been named to the All-Region Basketball Team for the 2010-2011 basketball season.

He reached his season high of 35 points against the Putnam County War Eagles, a long time Hurricane rival.

Mr. Campbell ended the season with 19 points per game average.
This Saturday, March 19, Mr. Campbell will be playing in the Middle Georgia All-Star Classic held at Westside High School in Macon at 5 p.m. The gym is located at 2851 Heath Road, Macon.

All are invited to attend and cheer this All-Region player on.
Jasper County Athletic Director Chris Jenkins said, “Adrian really worked hard to improve all aspects of his game and was a team leader. That work paid off for him, and he is currently scheduled to visit Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC.”

Mr. Campbell is the son of Sharon and Preston Campbell of Monticello.

Also, Shareka Pennamon was named All Region in girls basketball. Ms. Pennamon is a junior at Jasper County High School, and averaged scoring 16 points per game.
