Resolutions to Keep
Most everyone has taken their holiday lights and decorations down.
Oh, there will always that be that one house that still has a Christmas wreath on the door in June, but most of it is gone. Or has it? Long after the decorations have been packed away, you’ll be sitting there and suddenly realize there is still a reindeer on top of a bookshelf or an entertainment center.
Just leave it, why bother, the length between Christmas gets shorter and shorter. I heard my first Christmas song in October this past year, could be July this year.
Have you noticed the ads on TV? All the car companies seem to be giving away cars, $0 down, 0% interest. By golly, that makes you want to run out and get one, it’s FREE.
And there is the ad that says you can lose six pounds in only two weeks. Let’s see if I use their product, by this time next year, well, I should weigh 20 pounds.
There are numerous ads touting 40-90% off on everything. Where were these ads in December when we needed them?
And New Years Resolutions, did you make any? I figured out that you should be realistic with those things like say ‘my New Years Resolution is to eat as much as I can, spend as much as I can and never look in the mirror in 2011’. I really think I can keep those.
