Friendly Chess Tournament

Students at Jasper County High School recently gathered in the school’s media center for a three day chess tournament. The chess tournament attracted more than 20 competitors, with students ranging from freshman to senior. Media Specialist John DeGarmo organized the tournament for students to engage in positive, friendly competition. The media center is also frequently the site for other activities.
