Hot Air Balloon Visits Monticello Friday

The Hot Air Balloon and Jazz Fest makes its second appearance on the Monticello Square this Friday, September 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.

In conjunction with the Lake Oconee Music Festival, the balloon appears as part of the Friday night Dine Around that includes concerts, wine tasting, and art exhibits in several of the Lake Country’s surrounding counties.

The balloon will again offer free rides from its tethered position on South Warren Street and jazz pianist Penelope Williams makes her ‘back by popular demand’ appearance.

Food vendors will be available to offer a wide variety of goodies and Jasperites are invited to bring blankets, picnic baskets and lawn chairs to enjoy the festivities.
