Submit Questions for Forum

Jasper County citizens are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to voice their concerns about the future of their county government.

Jasper County Farm Bureau and the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the public to submit questions to the candidates concerning the upcoming primary election.

A political forum will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at 7 p.m. in the Courthouse where the candidates will be asked to answer questions provided by the residents of Jasper County.

Questions must be political in nature and serve to reveal the candidate’s platform. No question shall serve to address the personal character of any candidate, nor shall it be addressed to one particular candidate.

Questions may be submitted in person to the Chamber of Commerce office at 119 West Washington Street on the Sqaure, by mail to P.O. Box 133 or via email to jasperchamber@bellsouth.net.

All questions must be received by June 22. This will allow time to screen the questions and organize them in order to provide the public with a timely and well-rounded political forum.
