Applications Available for Refuge Turkey Hunt
Application forms are now available for the 2004 turkey hunts on Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge, according to an announcement from the refuge, a part of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
There will be five hunts this year with a quota of 200 people drawn per hunt.
A refuge special use permit is required to hunt on Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge. Refuge hunt regulations and applications can be obtained at the refuge Visitor Center or at the Allison Lake leaflet dispense.

The 2004 turkey hunts are scheduled for the following dates:
March 25-27; April 1-3; April 8-10; April 15-17, and April 22-24.
Application forms must be completely filled out and returned to the refuge office noon on February 24.
The public is welcome to attend the drawing which will be held at Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m.
