Jackson Lake Homeowners Meet Sept. 12

The Jackson Lake Homeowners Association will have its annual membership meeting on Friday, Sept. 12, beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the FFA-FHA center on Hwy. 36 in Newton County.

Wanda Green of Georgia Power will be the guest speaker. She will try to answer questions about problems with the lake and dam. Greg Gerlach will speak on the history of Jackson Lake.

The meal of ribeye steak, baked potato, green beans, tossed salad, rolls and butter, coconut and lemon pie, tea and coffee is available to JLHA members for $8 each.

Reservations are needed, and everyone is asked to call their district director. Those who do not know who that is may call any director.
