Local man charged with molestation

Investigator David Ledford took warrants for David R. Hulsey, 28, of Monticello, charging him with child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and other charges.

Jasper County deputies had a busy week November 18-24, arresting a dozen people on various charges, including Mr. Hulsey. Deputies also served 11 warrants, 20 civil processes, and answered 209 calls for service including 95 traffic stops. They also issued three county ordinance violation citations.
