Christmas Ornaments Available
This year’s Collector Series Christmas Ornaments have arrived at the Chamber of Commerce office on the Square.
The design for 2005 is the cover to Trisha Yearwood’s new album, “Jasper County” featuring her picture. Trisha has been such a wonderful representative of Jasper County throughout the years and with the recent debut of her new album, the design was a natural choice for the tenth anniversary edition, said Maggie Potter, executive director of the COC.
Work to secure the proper permissions started months ago in hopes that the idea could become a reality.
The ornament color is called mist white and the album cover for “Jasper County” is printed in full color—a first for the Chamber of Commerce ornaments. A very limited number of ornaments have been purchased and once they are sold out, there will be no further ornaments produced bearing Trisha Yearwood’s picture.
Interested persons can purchase their 2005 Christmas ornament for $7 while supplies last. They are currently available at the Chamber of Commerce office in Monticello, the Bank of Monti-cello, McIntosh State Bank, the Olive Tree Gallery, MeMe’s House, the Silver Rabbit, the Plant Parlor and Zoë’s Place.
Merchants interested in displaying and selling this year’s ornaments in their store are asked to contact the Chamber of Commerce at 706.468.8994.
