Trisha Yearwood Special To Be Aired

Many Jasperites and other fans of Trisha Yearwood will want to plan to stay home or at least be home early on Friday, Dec. 2.

CMT Homecoming: Trisha Yearwood is scheduled to air on CMT (Country Music Television) at 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. The show was filmed in Monticello and Jasper County to give viewers a close-up look at the country music superstar.

CMT Homecoming travels with artists to the place of their childhood for exclusive interviews and rare performances, according to the CMT website.

CMT film crews were here in late August, doing interviews with her childhood friends and family members, shooting video of Monticello and Jasper County, and preparing the production.
