Legislative Delegation To Meet with Jasper Leaders

A “Jasper County Legislative Delegation” meeting is planned for next Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. in the Board of Education meeting room at the old Washington Park School off Funderburg Drive in Monticello.

Rep. Jim Cole and Sen. Johnny Grant will meet with local officials. Rep. Cole said that meetings like this really helps the legislators get a feel for what everybody wants. The itinerary for the meeting is below.

12:30-1 Jasper County
1-1:30 p.m.—City of Monticello
1:30-2 p.m.—School Board
2-2:15 p.m.—Hospital
2:15-2:30 p.m.—DAJC
2:30-3 p.m.—Break
3-3:30 p.m.—Court System
3:30-3:45 p.m.—Sheriff
3:45-4 p.m.—Chief of Police
